St. George Greek School
Penny Gryparis, Evagelia Contoguris, Georgia Kontogouris, Maria Kontogouris, Xeni Loucopoulos, and Irene Kiousis are our teachers.
The St. George Greek School offers a well-rounded, academic Greek education to students from preschool (age 4) through high school. There are two semesters per academic year. Our program offers students opportunities to speak, read, write, sing, and recite poetry in Greek. Additionally, our program includes lessons in Greek history, geography, mythology, customs, and traditions. Our goal is to offer programs that nurture a love and understanding of the Greek language, heritage, and culture. The Greek School teachers are native speakers and experienced educators who are patient, loving, and passionate about imparting Greek heritage to new generations.
All Classes from Kindergarten to the Upper Grades. Classes meet on Saturdays from 10AM to 12 noon from September 21, 2024 to May 17, 2025. We look forward to seeing our current students and welcoming new students!
Registration and payment for Semester I are due September 21, 2024 . You may pay by check, credit card by phone (call the church office 248-335-8869), or cash - you may stop by the church office to pay in person.
Semester I of the St. George Greek School Year will begin on Saturday, September 21, 2024 and will end on January 18, 2025.
Semester II will begin on January 25, 2025, and will end on May 17, 2025. Semester II tuition will be due January 25, 2025.
Tuition per Semester - Tuition payable upon registration:
One child: $300*
Two children: $400*
Three children: $500*
Four children: $600*
*An additional $30 per child book fee will be charged when a new book is needed.
Ellinomatheia Classes will begin in October on Saturdays from 12-1:30PM (teacher Penny Gryparis).
Individual Adult classes are available via Zoom or in person. Group adult classes are available in person. Dates, hours, and cost will be arranged based on the needs of the student. Email teacher Penny Gryparis at: [email protected] to arrange.
