We are pleased to announce that we are able to fund $17,375 in grant requests!   This is an all time high, considering the short time we have been in existence. We are able to fund the following approved grants for 2025: Chant  Ministry, College Connection,  GOYA, Greek School, Lenten retreat/Christmas Tea, Orthodox Life, Scholarship, and Seniors of St. George.  We thank our St. George community for their generosity!  We received grant requests that exceeded the donation funds available, but we have high hopes that as each year passes, we will continue to grow and expand our ability to fund more requests!

Please consider making a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or yearly donation to us!  We accept cash, checks,  or for your convenience you can make a one time donation or set up a recurring donation through our Tithely account.  Just scan the QR code or click the GIVE button below. Your support is what allows us to do good works for our St. George community!

It takes our time, talent and treasure for our community to thrive.
St. George Mission F_ND: the only thing missing is U!  God bless you all!

About us:
The St. George Mission Fund was established by the St. George parish council in 2021. Its purpose is to provide our parish with a relatively stable and growing source of funds to fulfill and expand our ministries as an Orthodox Christian community. These are the religious, educational, cultural, and fellowship activities of our parish.
Mission Fund resources are not used for operational expenses of the church.  These are maintained through your stewardship and other donations.

Grant Approval:

We have reviewed 2025 Grant Requests and are pleased to announce we are  able to fund $17,375! We are able to fund the following approved grants for 2025: Chant  Ministry, College Connection,  GOYA, Greek School, Lenten retreat/Christmas Tea, Orthodox Life, Scholarship, and Seniors of St. George. These good works are able to be done through our St. George community's generosity.

A grant  request form must be submitted by a parish member in good standing  by December 1st of the year prior to its expected use.
The St. George Mission Fund Board of Trustees then reviews all the requests and grant approval is determined by the following February 1st. Grants must be consistent with the purpose of the mission fund.  Consideration is also given to where the grants will do the most good and the size of available funds. The form is accessible in the Forms  and Application tab!
